Most of recovery happens at home, after the ward, after the clinic, after the follow-up call ends. Recovrly exists to support people through that part, alongside the care they're already receiving.
Why we exist
Healthcare encounters are brief. A pre-op appointment, a ward round, a follow-up letter: each gives someone a moment of guidance, then leaves them to fill in the rest themselves, often at the point they're least prepared to. Recovrly was built to close that gap: a recovery pathway that stays with someone through preparation, procedure and recovery, built around their specific surgery or illness rather than generic advice.
Clinician-led, not just clinician-approved
Recovrly's pathways are developed with clinicians, not just reviewed by them afterwards: content, exercise guidance and personalisation logic move through the same governance model in place today: author, clinical review, approval, and scheduled re-review. Recovrly is a UK-registered Class I medical device, developed following ISO 14971 risk management and IEC 62304 software lifecycle principles.
That approach draws on published research, including a feasibility study of Recovrly's technology in hip-fracture rehabilitation, rather than starting from assumptions about what patients need.
